I've been feeling like Marilyn on this one. Over the pond without a paddle. :? I would greatly appreciate receiving any takeaway materials :D ....would even be willing to toss a few quid into the plate if necessary to help defray any costs just for a chance for this to happen...(and to receive a good summary of what gets taught in exchange  !)

Hope you have great fun!

Best wishes
Jean

Interested - and could possibly also help. I had a very successful trip there this summer and added more branches to the tree.

PS. The best resource so far for my Irish relatives has been the Poor Law Records held in the Mitchell Library.

Hi Liz,

Since I posted my interest I think the response so far would make your...
Christine got carried away with enthusiasm and offered to run a wee seminar
...was just a little bit of an underestimation of potential response

If you were planning a wee meeting place, I'd suggest thinking a bit bigger

Dear Marie

When it comes to Ireland, all help is appreciated. We can get in touch via PM when I've got a better idea what C's plans are for the day. If you'd like to contribute in some way, that would be great.
