Hi all,

Despite being small in numbers, we did have a good day - once we'd all found the place! I've no excuse as I only live 3 miles away, but thankfully a passing postman was able to direct me!

Russell deserves a round of applause for organising the day (and a nice lunch) and ditto to David for stepping in at the last moment when Mary was taken unwell. Thanks to both.

It was great to see some folks again, and also to meet others for the first time!

As Andrew says, there was talk about another event next year ....

Thanks again Russell and David.

Liz

PS - Annie let's have a chat about "the plan".

Thanks everybody for making it a most enjoyable day :D :D

The smaller number was actually quite good for a first time try at such an event.
The normal TS keyboard conversations simply became face-to -face ones and instead of Smileys, we had animated faces. Great :!:
Despite wearing two hats (my Kipco one as well as my TS one!) everything just happened.

Sorry to the folks who couldn't attend but the only person who remembered to bring a camera was AndrewP and he only remembered it as the group was breaking up - so - no photos :(

Here's to the next one :!:

Glad it went well, Russell. Sorry I wasn't able to be there. I certainly intend to plan a trip to Kilbarchan some time or other to see where the old weaver rellies used to live and work. If you produced anything which could be posted on here, I'm sure many people would be interested to read it.
