Just had a look at William & Ann's marriage details on SP and it came up trumps :D

They were married in John Knox Church, Aberdeen on 31.7.1847. William was noted as being a Labourer in Aberdeen. Ann was the daughter of a Charles Clark (A farmer in parish of Kinellar). Witnesses were Andrew Clark (possibly her brother?) & William Keith both Labourers in Dee Village, Aberdeen.

It was a pre-printed form Carol .. you were spot on :D
And there was me thinking i could have a night off this computer .. not a chance!

Hi Wendy,

Jean is warning you that entries in IGI which say that they are submissions rather than "Extracted from" should be checked carefully. They have not been transcribed from official records, but have been provided by someone, probably from their own research, sometimes not very accurate.
