If you've put the work in Gary, I'm sure you'll do well. Just enjoy your summer when it comes and cook a few nice summery meals for your folks!
The Tudors were a fascinating bunch. It seems very likely that my husband is descended from Sir Ralph Sadler who worked for Henry VIII and later Elizabeth. He may be mentioned in your book. He was a protege of Thomas Cromwell but kept his head when Cromwell lost his following his (Cromwell's) promotion of Henry's marriage to Anne of Cleves. Must have been a sharp operator. Have you ever read the Shardlake novels by C. J. Sansom? They really bring that period to life. The first one is called Dissolution. Well worth a read.
How far we have wandered from discussing two sisters born in Hamilton or nearby. Still what's a bit of topic drift between friends.
