Hi Frances,
I go into Chapters every Monday morning to pick up the "Sunday Times" and never thought of asking in there. However, after reading others experiences here and having ordered my copy on Christmas Day which is still according to them, being released on March 30 - delivery April 3/4 cost $25.51 plus delivery charge. As they say "That will learn me".

I ordered mine from Amazon 13th Jan and they have given me a delivery of between 7th - 12th March.
We shall see!

Just picked up a copy today in Waterstones for £9.99. I have a quick skim through it and it seems pretty interesting. I think it was the last copy in the store.

Well, it´s here, delivered this afternoon. I´ve not had much time to give it a gander, but it fell open at page 139 - Justices of the Peace - and that reminded me that my grandfather bore those initials, so if nothing else, the book set me looking for info. about JPs and why my namesake had these letters after his name.
Otherwise, there seems to be an incredible amount of useful detail in the near 300 pages - and so much easier to read in bed than a computer screen.
Hope all those waiting in other distant parts receive their copies sooner, rather than later.
Guid hunting,
Thrall

I ordered mine from Amazon and since they gave me an expected delivery date of end of Feb or beginning of March, I had it sent to my home in Minnesota, where I will be then... And now comes an email telling me the book has been dispatched today
So I have to sit here in France, knowing the book is in Minnesota and trying to be patient until I get back there... Ah well, at least I know I have some good reading waiting for me!
Regards,

Obviously my comment can be misconstrued! I have dipped in here and there and am now launched into the big read.
Perhaps I should have paid more attention to my son who went on a speed-read course just before university and tripled his consumption, though one does wonder about the enjoyment factor. It put me off seeing a near adult staring at his index finger.............
