Hi everyone

I am hoping someone will be give me the answere that may take me another step closer to finding my 3X Gr Grans death & burial.

Since my last post concerning my above Gr gran I have found the death certificate of one of her Sons's Andrew Agnew age 10.

Andrew died 27 Sep 1855 at Luce Street parish of Leswalt, burial at "New cemetary" Sheuchan :?: certified by John Walls undertaker.

My question is where is this cemetary as I have checked all post hints and found nothing that matches,.

My next question is, it would be likely wouldn't it that he may be buried with his Mother (cert states Mother deceased).

My next question is where can I find the parish registers for this cemetary also Mort cloth records for this service :?: Lair records.

I feel if I can find this info I may find Margaret Agnew's records too if they exist, which I am sure they must.

I know this is a lot to ask, but I am sure some one out there can help.

Thanks
Tricia

Hi Tricia,

The Scottish Genealogical Society has the MI's for both Section 1 and Section 2 of Sheuchan Cemetery, Stranraer.

And yes it would seem likely that he would be buried with his Mother but not set in stone -no pun intended.
