The 1841 census has Joseph born in Ireland C1770 and he married Janet Cumming in 1811 in Old Monkland near Glasgow.
I know this is an extremely long shot -- but ---- worth a try

Hello,
What kind of info are you trying to find? Do you have the couple in 1851? Did they live long enough to have death certificates? Sorry, I'm unclear what exactly you are asking for.

Thanks for replies.
I am trying to ascertain when and where Joseph was born and any ancestors I may have from him in ?? Ireland or wherever. I don't know of any Irish sites I could access to find these and would be grateful for suggestions.
