I recently got an email from Scotlands People announcing further improvements to the service (as if it wasn't pure dead brilliant already by the way!)
Amongst these was mention about how you can customise the compression level of the images you view/download.
Without a complex explanation should I be like Goldilocks avoiding too low, too high and picking medium? Thus far my compression setting has been low but I wonder if that is best.
All I want at the end of the day is a nice crisp image to view and if need be print off.
Andrew
Definitely for the techies!

If you have a reasonable Internet connection, always go for the minimum compression possible. You can always compress it yourself, if you ever have a shortage of space, but that just about always looses some of the detail, which can never be replaced.
Don't forget also, that any pictures etc saved with the .JPEG extension, will also always loose information each and every time they are opened and closed.
