Twins Daughters!

Post by scooter » Mon Nov 12, 2007 1:58 pm

Hi All,

Following on from the announcement of our son Alexander's birth last year, I'm now thrilled to tell you that my wife Helen gave birth to twin girls late last Thursday evening. Edith Lee Harrison Wishart born at a healthy 7lb 8oz and May Kelly Thomson Wishart born half an hour later at 7lb 11oz. Both came by natural delivery and are thriving.

Wee Alex is not hugely interested in his new sisters, I guess at 21 months old, the brand new train set that miraculously appeared overnight is somewhat more of a draw than two baby girls! Pic on my blog at: http://wishart.blogphotography.com/index.html

Hectic times ahead....

Best,

Scott

P.S. In case you were wondering about the names, they are all family orientated, for example the first names are our maternal Grandmothers.

Oh what beautiful wee girls you must be so relieved it's all over & they have arrived safe & well.

Helen must be glad to be relieved of such a hefty burden-great weights for singleton births & a really healthy one for twins. They look so alert & blooming.

I am sure that Alex will soon be paying them lots of attention-hopefully not what my Aunt did by hefting veg into the cot at the usurper who had taken her place but she was a less mature 19 months.
Clever girls to have gone shopping already & to have picked such a perfect item for an almost two year old.
[woohoo] [woohoo] to your" little" family& hope you get some [snore] [snore] in the months to come.

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!

As you have kept with family names, you have made it easier for the next generations of genealogists. You could have confused them by giving one of them the middle name TalkingScot.

All the best,

Andrew
