Gaulds again

Once again please help if you can.

Now pre census I am looking for help with the wife and her parents of William Gauld 1785-1871 died in kildrummy aberdeenshire not sure of birthplace but d.o.b. possibly 17/11/1785.

His wife was Ann Gordon 1795 - 1836 sorry got no birthplace. And I have her parents as Alexander Gordon and Margaret Badenoch, these were downloaded along with part of another file so I have no place of birth or dates for Alexander and for Margaret Badenoch I have Born Bellie Banffshire in 1819 but as you will see that means Ann Gordon was born 34 years before her mother (now thats immaculate conception)

William Gauld's father was James Gauld 5/1/1735 - 27/1/1809 no birth place and his mother was Ann Bonnyman 1717 -1788

As normal any help greatly received

Hi Zero,
Using S.P. free search I found:
William Gauld born 17 Nov 1785, Glass, Aberdeen;
Ann Gordon chr., 27 april 1822, Cabrach, Banff. .
Margaret Badenoch is more of a problem. Will have another look later unless someone else comes up with ideas.

No help with Ann but William was born at Carinie according to the 1851 census and sure enough -

WILLIAM GAULD Male

Event(s):

Christening: 17 NOV 1785 Cairnie By Huntly, Aberdeen, Scotland

Parents:
Father: JAMES GAULD
Mother: ANN BONNYMAN

1. S.P. : Marriage of Alexr Gordon and Margaret Gordon, 2 Aug 1818, Cabrach, Banff. Those are the parents of the Ann I found on S.P. If this is the correct Ann + parents there are others to add to the family which may give you clues to Margaret's parents.
2. There are quite a few christenings with the name of Margaret Gordon to chose from.
3. S.P.: There is a birth of a James Gauld 12 Aug 1737, Marnoch, Banff to John Gauld and Chirstian Morison.
I don't know if either of these help at all but 'good luck' anyway.

You more than likely already have this but just in case here’s a Gauld/Bonnyman descendants list etc. Not sure how it fits in with your lot.
