I keep hitting brick walls,trying to find Peter Ramsay Born Abt 1823 Where??? Died 1910 in New Brunswick, Canada.

NB census lists his births as

1/ At sea

2/ Nova scotia

3/ Scotland

Marriage Cert list birth as Nequac, NB ( this is false as he jump ship in Nequac) He married Anastasia Savoie on 11 May 1857 in Tracadie,NB.

His Death Cert lists his birth as Cocagne, NB

So, is your earliest sighting of this man when he jumped ship? What sort of document do you have to prove that and when did that happen? If you could find out more about the ship and where it was from, that might help.
