Hi yet another newbie stuck.
Any experts help with a wee problem.I have gone as far back as 1849 to my gggg gran and grandads wedding John Telford and Ann Bradford. Then on to the 1851 census with John, Ann and son John. (4 Johns and A Thomas later theres me.)In between 1851 and 1861 Ann dies. But on the 1851 census it says that John and Ann are from Armagh and Down ? and above a Rebecca Telford and a sister Ann.I remember as a child my dad telling me we had Sligo in our ancestry.I have what i found on a family tree builder but have no idea how to show it to anyone on this site.

Hi Monty66 and a warm welcome to TalkingScot
Ah, those Irish ancestors. I think most of us with Irish ancestry have problems knowing where they were actually from.
Are you looking for help in any specific area, or are you just looking for a way to show your tree...not sure how you would do that unless it was on another website and you pasted the link into your message.
Regards,
Anne H

Can you tell us where you found Ann Bradford and John Telford living in the 1851 census? There are 13 deaths listed for Ann Telford on SP between 1855 ad 1861, so - as Lesley suggested, if you had a location, you might be able to look at her death certificate to find more information.

It is always possible too that she died between 1851 - 55, so will just have missed Statutory Registration...
(and knowing any Irish relatives, and how elusive they can be, I bet you that is what has happened!
) No sign of an Ann Bradford, other name Telford on SP that I'm seeing.
Should be no problem with posting the link to your tree Monty.
Best wishes
Lesley
