I am looking for the Birth details and parents of Robert Beveridge who married an Elizabeth Penman in Dunfermline on the 2 april 1819 and who died in Aberdour July 1879 and is listed as widow of Robert Beveridge coal miner

Think you might have a difficult one here.
Checked IGI for children of the couple to narrow them down on the censuses.
Found 3, one an extracted entry: Richard Beveridge, ch 1827 @ Dunfermline
and two submissions: Margaret 1820 @ Halbeath and James 1822 @ Dunfermline.
Armed with that info, this would appear to be the family on the 1841:
Widow Beveridge, 40yrs, b. Dunfermline
Margaret, 20
Janet, 19
James, 17
Richard, 16. Coal miner
So unfortunately it looks like (assuming correct family of course!) father Robert died before 1841, making him difficult to find.
Perhaps a look up of Fife MIs might give up some info?
