I hope some kind person can help me please i am trying to find the
correct parents of Hugh Gaffney . Hugh Married Rose Murray His father was Henry and he married Mary Murphy I was trying to locate the death of Henry and Rose Her parents are Edward and her mother Ann Dinnan .Rose and Hugh married 1872 in Bridgeton

if you downloaded the marriage entry from Scotland People, www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk that should give both sets of parents, Do you already have this? You seem to have an idea of the parents' names.

I was trying to locate the death of Henry and Rose

Henry, who should be mentioned on the marriage of Hugh and Rose will either be just named, or names and stated as deceased. This may give you a clue when to start looking. However, with the surnames you have there, it may be the case that the parents are in Ireland, not Scotland...

With Rose, have you tried a search for her death on Scotland People? Remember you can search on two surnames for women who were married.

If I have the correct family in 1861 then it looks like Henry died in 1873 at Lanark.

Rose is proving to be a bit more difficult. There is 1 Rose Gaffney death in 1884 at Lanarkshire of about the right age but a cross check with Murray doesn't match. It might be worth a check though.

I found Hugh and Ros(a) in 1881 but Hugh is on his own with his children Edward and Agnes in 1891.
