Hi Everyone,
Was looking for any info on Margaret Sinclair Cullen, born in 1900 and died in 1939. She married a great Uncle of ours, Martin Campbell Rhind Taylor, they had one child that I know of Agness Sinclair Taylor. I believe she worked in an explosives factory at the time of her marriage. I'd love to have more info, if anyone knows anything.
Take care,
Stephanie

Hi Stephanie,
Not sure what exactly you are looking for... but this looks like her in the 1901 census. Were you wanting to find out something about her ancestry? It's certainly clear from the census where the middle name Sinclair came from!
1901
Redding St, Polmont, Grangemouth, Stirlingshire
George S Cullen, 27, Head, born England, Soldier (lance Cor Cann High)
Agnes A Cullen, 29, Wife, born Leith, Midlothian
Margaret S Cullen, 9 mo, Daur, born Polmont, Stirlingshire
Barbara Sinclair, 17, Sister-in-law, born Leith, Midlothian, Tailoress
Margaret Sinclair, 19, Sister-in-law, born Leith, Midlothian, General Servant Domestic
(sorry, her father's occupation appears to have been attacked by an Ancestry.com gremlin
)
All the best,
Sarah

Hi Sarah,
Thanks for this information. I appreciate it. That's about the most unusual name in my Taylor line.
Thanks,
Stephanie

Thank you for the factory information. Her daughter Agnes, my mother's cousin, apparently also worked in this type of factory. She had no children so my brickwall is with her. I have no idea if they had other children, so I keep searching.
Take care,
Stephanie

Re: Sinclair Cullen
Margaret (known as Peggy) Cullen was a sister of my granny Ellen (known as Helen) King Cullen. Their mother was Agnes Alexander Sinclair before she married. Margaret died of cancer in 1939 and her husband remarried but I'm sure he had no children with his second wife. Agnes was an only child who never married or had children. She died (also of cancer) in 1986. She worked in the Nobel factory (it became ICI) as a chemist. I think she worked with dyes. If you need to know anything else I can probably find out.
