Logging in TS

Hello all,

Is anyone else being logged out every time they try to view a new post?

Not the end of the world I know but mildly annoying.

No I haven't had this problem and I've visited the site several times afternoon and evening today. Can understand though that it can be a wee bit irritating if it happens. so hope the problem sorts itself out soon.

Thanks for reply.

It's been happening with me for over a week now. It just happened again.

Out of interest do you use the old or the new interface? I use the old and have just noticed I don't have the TS logo in the top left corner but I used to.

The TS logo disappeared (temporarily?) on Friday night (UK time), when the forum ran through technical difficulties. As far as I am aware, no changes were made to the site until its rebuild later on Friday.

Have you installed or upgraded any software recently - particularly internet browser or firewall software? When you first log on to TS, does your PC remember your logon name (and password if you have the box ticked), or are you having to type that in each time?

Hello Andrew,

I haven't changed anything on my computer recently but by the sound of things it is a problem with my browser although my PC remembers my log in details.

It seems to happen randomly, one minute I'm logged on and viewing posts (old green screen) and then I click on a different topic and

I'm logged out (new blue screen)!

I could have viewed one post or five there seems to be no logic as to when it might happen. At the start it only happened when I went to view posts in 'Computer Shop' but now it can be anything and anytime.

Anyway Andrew thanks for reply, at the moment I don't think there is much I can do about it as it seems it's only me.
