Black Watch Regiments WW2

Hi everyone,

I have just discovered that one of my uncles served in the Black Watch during WW2.

I'm too not sure which area he was in,possibly Artillery.

Can I find out anything about him regarding his time with the B.W.?
Is there are web site that I can approach?

I find it a bit odd that a Welshman(North Wales)would serve in a Scottish Force.

The Black Watch (The Royal Regiment) have only ever been a regiment of foot, i.e. PBI.

It could have been the case that he was in a Royal Artillery battery brigaded with the BW and other regiments.

The only BW 'artillery' connection could have been with a mortar platoon.
