Lithuainian Incomers Prior to WW1

- Following on the topic about the Poles arriving prior to WW1 -
Around that same time there was an influx of Lithuanians into Scotland. Some settled in Stevenston in Ayrshire and I assume went to work in Nobel's dynamite factory there at Ardeer - that was where the work was. Many of them changed their names to 'fit in', one associated with my wife's family changed theirs to Smith.

From such a background at Stevenstom came John Miller. John wrote a book a few years ago about the Lithuanian refugees lost history, culture, customs, how it affected John personally ie name calling at school and how their customs are now lost.

It's a paperback with 166 pages.
