Hello Maureen,

Was your David George Frame an accountant, of 40 Royal Exchange Square, with some connection to a Thomas Frame of Dowanside who died 24th February 1888 and who has some Estate documents on SP?

If so, there’s a death notice and a couple of other minor newspaper items if you’re interested.

All the best,
Alan

Hello Alan,
Yes that is him.
I know nothing about this Family.
I am searching them in the hope of connecting to the wife's name
Agnes Mathilda Martha Renowitzky
My Grandmother had the same surname and I have spent many many years trying to trace her back to Russia.
In the whole of Scotland there was only ever two people with this name Renowitzky / Renovitzky.
I know there is little chance of any relationship as the name is very common in European community ,but it is a long shot I have to look at.

I have discovered that David Frame and his Father Thomas and also his father in Law Wilhelm Renowitzky were all involved in Insurance Business.
I will look at these articles in case they throw some light.

Cheers,
Maureen

Hello Maureen,

I had a look around but couldn’t see anything that would help with the Renowitzky side of things.

If you want the newspaper articles just drop me a PM with an email address and I’ll send them. They don’t look as though they’ll be very useful.

All the best,
Alan
