The Clydebank Story

Post by Sam Cooper » Tue Jun 09, 2009 5:36 pm

The Clydebank Story website seems to have disappeared. Does anyone know why and where it has gone?

Very Strange [alien]

I tried to access it through the Glasgow Story but that link gets me nowhere either.

Maybe contacting it's sister site could help:

http://www.west-dunbarton.gov.uk/online ... nt_Day.htm

http://www.britishpathe.com/index.php this link which was provided by Anne
has some Clydebank footage on it.
Just type in "Clydebank" in the search engine.
Found some clips from Dalmuir Sec School 1971 which must have contained some of my classmates from the Primary School although I couldn't put names to faces.
There is also footage of a Scotland/Ireland Ladies Hockey match at the old Singers Playing fields which was interesting.I was busy looking for my Dad's half-sister who played for the Scottish Team but think 1931 would have been a bit too early for her.
We used to have our Clydebank High School Sports Days there.
Also clips of Singers & the Yards.
