Hi everyone,
I am trying to find any related family members of John Gemmell born about 1850 in Paisley, his wife was Janet Bradshaw and they were married at Middle Church Paisley on the 30th. October 1868.
The family home then was 5 Philips Street,Paisley. They had six children.........

The above James Gemmell was my Grandfather and i have traced his life from enlisting in the army in 1903 to his final resting place in Belgium.
His brother William at 16yrs. was a Butcher.His home was (the second house) High Street, Peockland Houses, Paisley.
Due to the fortunes of war and allthough our family were aware we had relatives in the Paisley area we never had any knowledge of who they were.
If there is any Gemmell"s out thier and think we may be related in sum way or anyone who my be able to help me with my research please reply.

1891 shows more children - it would be worth getting some census images to check the transcriptions - but it appears a couple of children have died - there seem to have been two named James
