AM LOOKING FOR INFO REGARDING JOHN STCLAIR SUTHERLAND B 1814 1815 WHO MARRIED A MARION MILLER IN OR AROUND CAITHNESS SCOTLAND.
AM WORKING ON PEDIGREE TREE.

There are a few John Sutherlands on the 1881 census living in Caithness. Alas none with a wife called Marion.

Do you have any knowledge of any children's names and d.o.b's?

the john stclair sutherland i am looking for was born 1814-1815 we believe in caithness scotland area and married a marion miller , immigrated to pei canada in about 1840 ,there was a son named robert and believe he was a blacksmith.

John won't be on the 1881 census for Great Britain then. Did his son stay in Scotland or did he emigrate too? If he did remain in Scotland do you have an approximate year of birth?

I had a couple of spare credits on Scotlandspeople. Had a look for a marriage for John and Marion and there is only one shown in the dates 1830-1854
