Isabella Martin. Nee Beveridge

Trying to find out what happened to Isabella Martin, Nee Beveridge. She married Joseph Martin in 1908 Beath Fife. Joseph died in 1957. On his death cert it states that he was married twice, which I knew about. He was a widower when he married Isabella. His death cert doesn't state that Isabella was deceased and I can't find a death cert for her post 1957 or pre 1957 on Scotlands People. What am I doing wrong? I have tried different variations of her name and get nothing. Can anyone help?

Only one death comes up.

1913, ISABELLA JANE BEVERIDGE, Other Surnames MARTIN, Female, age 44, District - St. Peter, City/County - Dundee City, Angus, Gros Data 282/01/0161

Hya Ann, unfortunately this isabella is not mine. She could not possibly have died in 1913 as she gave birth to a daughter in 1915. I looked at that record on a previous occassion. Thanks for looking anyway. Gen 10

Did the daughter marry? if so, was her mother alive at that point

What age does she give on her marriage in 1908, and have you sighted her on the 1901 census? to establish when she where she was born.

The other possibilities are:
she remarried after Joseph's death and not all her surnames were known or recorded when she died
She died in England or Ireland.

If you search without a first name you get 5 between 1957 and 1990.

One of them is in Fife but her name is not Isabella. She was born around 1892.

What age was Isabella when she married (I see Wilma's already asked this) and what was her mother's maiden name?'

Hello everyone. First I will answer Wilma's question first. Isabella was aged 25 when she married Joseph in 1908. He was 32. Isabella's mothers maiden name was Alexander.
Secondly to Nelmet, if Isabella had married after joseph died at the age of 82, this would have made Isabella well into her 70's. Not impossible for her to get married again but I doubt it. Her brother was in his eighties when he died so there is every chance that Isabella also lived well into her eighties.
