Jane/Jean Martin married Thomas McCowatt

Hi all, I am looking for any info or connection on a Jane/Jean MARTIN who was born abt. 1830 (probably in Neilston, renfrew). I do not have her parents yet. She married Thomas McCowatt on Sept 29 1854 in Neilston, Renfrew. Thomas was born June 14 1829 in Barrhead, Neilston and died April 30 1910 in Barrhead. They had at least 5 kids including Mary Mason MCowatt who married Alexander Lochhead. Anyways any info would be greatly appreciated and Happy Searching.

A look at Jane's death entry should confirm her mother's name which looks to be Mary Ann Mason after doing a parent search at Family Search.

Do you have her death certificate?

A search on Scotland's People website shows a Jean McCowatt / Martin dying in Renfrewshire in 1891.

If that is her then her parents' names should be noted there [if the informant knew the details].
Though if Thomas died in 1910 then he should have given the information so it should be accurate.

Thank you soo much for taking the time to look this info up. Searching can be hard when a lot of the info I need is in SP. No credit card Ideally I would love to have the different certs and then I would not need to be posting. Mary Ann Mason seems to fit as Thomas and Jean's granddaughter was named Mary Mason McCowatt.
