Surname BOLL /BOLE

I am researching the above surname/s and would like to hear from anyone with a similar interest, main area is West of Scotland, Pollokshaws area.
This is my wifes maiden name and fairly rare,

Hello Sarah,
Many thanks for your kind efforts, the oldest one I have is Robert BOLE, born 1792, died 1850, I am trying to find what happened to Alexander BOLL, born 4/11/1857, married to Jane CRAIG on 7/11/1881, they had a daughter Jane BOLL who was born 21/1/1882 ( naughty !), who died 8/6/1885.
His wife, Jane, died in Abbey Asylum, Paisley on 11/7/1891 and after that he dissappears, roll on the 1911 census to see if he is there.
I have the Refrewshire MI books if anyone needs a look-up,
