Greetings from New Zealand.
Today while researching at the NZSG Library I have come across another member, keen to learn more about the TARBET's (John, Charles, Peter, James) who for several generations were at Eaglesham.
KennethM, and others, if you have info I would be interested too. Thanks, in anticipation.

That's interesting to hear about the TARBET's of Eaglesham Alan. Unfortunately I don't have anything information about them so will be interesting to find out about more.

Re: TARBET's of Eaglesham.
Greetings Kenneth.
Thanks for replying. The NZSG Library is full of computers, offering a range of services. The most in demand are rationed by the hour, and the lady in question only took a quick look over my shoulder, when I heard of her interest and offered to log on to TS, and to see if there were any TARBET hits, after I told her about the 1790's HORSE TAX.
She took from me the TS site details, and said she would follow through. I did not think to get private details from her, but can make contact, through the Society, should others express interest in the family association with Eaglesham.
