hi, was hoping somone could help me again, i am looking for the death of a teresa kisella. b 4th april 1872 dublin. i know she married a robert lynch in 1894 age 22 yrs.her parents are thomas kinsella and a martha malone they lived the north side of dublin . the parish of st thomas. just wondered if teresa came to scotland when her brother came, he is william kinsella b 1861 dublin he married a mary byrne 15th july 1890 glasgow. would love to know when william died he was my g grandfather dont know how many children he had besides my granmother janet mary kinsella. many thanks.

Hi Cathy,
By the 1891 census William is in a lodging house in Carlisle, Cumberland, England. He says he is married, but his wife is not with him. The lodging house has only men. William is a Mason, Marble Polisher, born Dublin, Ireland, age 30.

When and where was your grandmother born?

I think I've answered my own question by playing with the search on Scotlandspeople.gov.uk. Janet Mary Kinsella was born in 1902 in Glasgow, correct?

Also on Scotland's People there is a William Kinsella who died in Glasgow in 1916 age 54

Mary Kinsella, other surname Byrne died in 1907 You will want to download her death certificate--perhaps she died in childbirth? Finding William and Janet Mary in 1911 should show you whether or not any other children were born and survived.

Do you know whether William remarried after his wife's death?

Died 12 July 1907 Cerbral Haemorrage Hemiplegia. She died in the Western Infirmary.

Wullie Kinsella did remarry after Mary's death.
He married Annie Marie Donnelly or Brooks.
He died 30 March 1916, Garngadhill.
He died of mitral regurgitation, which sounds like a heart valve disorder.

M Martha Malone subsequently Scott dec.
Annie was the informant living at 24 Kelvin Street.
