Hello Bob1 and ![TS welcome [TS_welcome]](./images/smilies/TS_welcome.png)
Are there any specific research problems you are having with this family? If you post details we may be able to help. We don't discuss possibly living people, however, so just post your 'lang deid yins'
All the best,
Sarah

Greetings Bob1,
I have an Agnes Shirkie who appears in Ayrshire in the 1861 Census having come from Derry, Ireland. She is one of my brick walls.

Hi Bob1, and I'll add my Welcome to TalkingScot.
Seeing that you are new here, thought I'd let you know about the 'Search' option. There is a magnifying glass icon to the top right of the page, just under the light blue banner. If you enter the word Sharkey in the screen that pops up, you will see there have been several previous mentions of Sharkey in addition to Hugo who has already responded..
