John H. McLachlan, b. Feb 23, 1899 - Glasgow/d. 1973 Canada. Married Margaret McKenzie Nov. 21, 1924 Port Glasgow. Lived in Maryhill for a while before moving to Glasgow for work. Lead drummer Bonhill Parish/Vale of Leven P.B. 1931-33. Emigrated to Canada approx. 1953 with 5 daughters. Brothers William and Ronnie (Scotland); Charles (England).
