Have a read at http://www.salvationarmy.org.uk/uki/HeritageEnquiry
Although upon reading for the history of a particular individuals service you may need to find out where they worshipped

My ancestor was a Salvation Army Officer - will you have any information about them?
We might do. If they were an Officer before 1900, it is unlikely we will be able to help, as early Officer’s records did not survive. After 1900, for many Officers, but certainly not all, there are records in our collections.

For the most part, we do not have records relating to individual members or Soldiers of the Army at the Heritage Centre. You should contact the local corps (church) where the person attended, as they may have records in their history books. We do have corps history books if the corps has closed.
