Thomas Black

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone could possibly help me locate the parents names of Thomas Black, born around 1780s married a Janet Morrison who was born 11th April 1778 in Lanarkshire, so think that is the area i need to search in, as the rest of the family also are from around Lanarkshire. They are my 4th great grandparents and all i have managed to locate thus far is their marriage proclamation, I have Janet's parents names via another persons tree on Ancestry.com, but have become very stuck with the Black line which is my direct line.

If anyone could help or have any pointers i would be most grateful.
