TalkingScot on Legacy 6

Post by grannysrock » Sun Sep 25, 2005 9:36 am

I just upgraded to Legacy 6 and found that "TalkingScot Forums" comes up as a suggested place for a "Preliminary Survey"* . I was delighted to see it listed amongst the American giants ... Well done to whoever is responsible. =D>

(* This is part of a new feature on Legacy where it suggests places to look and you can open an internet browser within Legacy and check off the suggested places after you have looked at them - sounds fair enuf , but I am getting script errors on some :?: )

By the way , do any Legacy users out there who have got to grips with this new thing , know if you can add your own suggested places to search ?

Hi Sally

Perhaps you've got to grips with your "new" Legacy and can now tell us the answer to your question about adding links! :D

Regards

Hi Grannysrock and Catrional,
I know with Legacy that it will depend on how much information you have in the timeline of the person you are researching as to how many research links will be shown as it relates back to that information.
If you are getting script errors, be sure to update Legacy each time they have one, as they are always improving it and will show the new update on the home page when you open Legacy, (with an internet connection of course).
You most likely would be able to request a link be added by contacting them, as they are always open to ideas.
