Hi everyone,
If a person has Pauper on a census and on death cert does that mean there would be some sort of record of help from the Parish.
Looking for William Baird died 1865 in Annan. Both census and Death cert had him living with daughter Janet and husband Robert Thomson in Rose Street Annan.

Looking for McGowan Anderson Fleming Sommerville Waddell in Lanarkshire. Semple Murray Baird Thompson Hutchinson in Annan Dumfriesshire Baird and Hutchinson also in Kirkinner Wigtonshire and Semple family of Annan Glasgow and Edinburgh

If they were in receipt of Poor Relief, and if the records, particularly the inspectors' reports have survived, yes; but it could also have been the case that they received support from their family.ASGROOMBRIDGE wrote:Hi everyone,
