Alerick Williamson.....

Trying to trace my father's cousin Alerick (or variant spelling) Williamson who would have been born between about 1905 and 1915. He had two children - son Douglas and one daughter (unknown). I know he stayed in Tullibody, Clackmannanshire in the 1950's and also in Edinburgh either before or after that period. I remember him and the family coming to Christmas parties in Inverkeithing, Fife held by my aunt and uncle: Ella and Alexander Williamson. I am unsure of the spelling for Alerick and am anxious to tie him in to my family tree. I think his father may have been a David Williamson (b. 23 5 1887 - Holmes Cottages, Uphall, West Lothian) or John Williamson (b.25 7 1880 -Wellshot Cottage, Cambuslang, Lanarkshire).

Any help would be much appreciated.

Have you tried posting/searching for Alerick on Friends Reunited or Genes United? Might be worth a try.

There are a couple of A Williamsons living in Tullibody listed by BT. It might be worth writing to them in case there is a connection.
