Feeny, Feeney, or Finnie.....

Post by delmarco » Thu Dec 01, 2005 4:52 pm

I am being a drain today I know! I thought I'd put this out there too, My ggm was Elizabeth Feeney, her father (Bernard "barney" Feeney) is listed on her birth cert in 1866 as being deceased, I cannot find a death cert for him, I noticed though on his marriage cert, the last name is pselled three different way, so I did the searches under all the spellings with no luck, am I missing something? I was able to find the marriage of of Barney and Lizzie Feeny, Let me know if you all find something.
Many Many thanks for all your kindness with my questions!!!!!
REgards,
Karen

Hi Karen,

I did a search on SP for Bernard F*n* years 1865-66. There was one in 1865. Depending on her birth month, this could be your man. Unfortunately, my time has expired on SP so can't give you any more details but it may be worth checking it out.

Regards,

Alison

Alison:
Thanks for checking it out, I just read on another post how to use the wildcards, *'s I'm pretty new at this!! At any rate, she was born in Dec of 1866, so I'm betting that isnt him, however, his father according to his Marriage cert was also Bernard, could still be a match, I will go and look.

Many Thanks,
Karen
