Accident Compensation Records.....

Hello all,

Does anyone know if there is a place which holds records for accident compensation given to workers or their families?

I am looking for a possible record from 1938 when my great uncle Frederick Cotterill was killed in an explosion at The Great Western Laundry in Glasgow.

Any and all help appreciated immensely!
