Can ANYONE tell me what Ward Number Merkland St in Partick, Glasgow would have came under in the 1910 voters roll?
Thanks in advance

Hi John
I'm not sure whether Partick was part of Glasgow at that time. It was absorbed around then but I don't have the exact date to hand.
Before that 1901 it was part of the Civil Parish of Govan (I know that's on the other side of the Clyde but that was the case then.
- Police Burgh of Partick
- Quad Sacra Parish of St Mungo
- Parliamentary Division of Lanarkshire.

Sorry I can't be more precise!

If you phone (if you're near enough) or email The Mitchell library they will be able to supply that info.

Meanwhile if it is particular person you are looking for maybe they are on the valuation rolls of 1913/14 on The Glasgow Story site that Russell mentioned.
