The Australian of the year for this year is:
Prof. Dr. Ian Frazer
He is a Scottish born medical researcher.
He recieved this honour for his work in developing a vaccine for cervical cancer. I believe caused by the Human Papilloma virus?
The Scots turn, it was Dr Fiona Woods an English born burns specialist who was Australian of the Year last year.
