Hamilton

Post by Alice Bradford » Fri Jan 27, 2006 5:10 am

My great grandfather went by Henry Hamilton, but his birh record states he was the son of Peter Hammond and Margt. Adam born 10 Dec 1831, Dundee, Angus, Scotland. On his fathers marriage record the name is Hammil. He married Margaret Adam 22 June 1830. Peter was born at Ballymena, Ireland. Dundee Parochial Register Burials Howff states Peter was buried 4 April 1836 in common Grave 38 Place of Interment 270 Peter married Mary McKinnly about 1799 in Ireland. I would really like to know my great grandfathers real name and would like to extend the Hamilton, Hammil or Hammond line. Thank you for your help. Alice :D
