I have now traced my grandmothers death to 16/9/1911. The address given was 5 Thistle Street and her parents were Robert Reid and Jane or Janet Cameron (deceased) Robert Reid was a riveter. Annie Reid was 22 when she died and her occupation was given as Restaurant worker.
If anyone has come across these names in their searches I would be grateful for any info.
used all my credits and would like to see if I can go a bit further before getting more
Or at least know I am going in the right direction
thanks
Reid, Ferris, Welsh, Strain or Cameron .....

Hi Liz
Erm, no, not at the minute although I did make contact with someone on my tree on my mother's father side on Genes Reunited. I just don't seem to have had time to settle down, organise myself and go for it, but I am hoping that I will be able to start 'ancestor hunting' in earnest once the garden is sorted out.
thanks for asking

Hi Nica
Don't worry about doing nothing! When you get back around to this stuff, remember to re=post with as much detail as you can - you never know who'll offer help.
