William Hayden Gray.....

I have this name recurring through the various branches of my tree. I am particularly trying to find out about William Hayden Gray born in 1822 in Kilamarnock who was living in Alva at the birth of his son William Hadden Gray in 1855.

I also need details on Andrew Gray who was born about 1776 and is William's father. I know William was child 11 but have only managed to find 3 other siblings, all female.

Hope someone shares these Gray's and we can tie up some loose ends.

Do you have the birth entry for the child William Hadden Gray in 1855? It should contain some information. What about the census - 51, 61 etc?

Is this your chap in the IGI extract?

then it looks like they moved into Paisley...

Father: WILLIAM HEADON GRAY

Gender: Female Birth: 08 SEP 1861 High Church, Paisley, Renfrew, Scotland

...the 1861 could be interesting - you should catch them with all children mentioned above and maybe a few more, who knows?
