WILLIAMS FAMILY from Garngad/Dennistoun.....

Hoping to make contact with anyone descended from Owen and Winifred Williams who moved north to Glasgow from Anglesey in Wales in the 1850s. They initially lived in Garngad (now Royston) then moved to Dennistoun in the early 1900s. They had ten children called John T, Owen, Winifred, Thomas, Annie, Rowland, Elizabeth, Mary Catherine, William and Hugh. I am particularly looking for descendants of or info on John T (born 1875), Rowland (b.1888), William (b.1894) and Hugh (b.1897).

Hi Liza

Have you searched for their deaths on the www.ScotlandsPeople.gov.uk site? Death certificates often give information about family., the informant's or the wife's name for instance.

There is only one hit for a John T Williams b 1875 +/- 2 years in Lanarkshire for example. There is one hit for a Hugh WILLIAM* b 1897 All records.
