Captain Magnus Work of Kirkwall.....

Hello everyone.......I'm wondering if anyone knows who the parents of the above Captain Magnus Work were. He died recently at the age of 95......I'm sure he fits into a tree I'm researching, but exactly where?????? Thanks, Tass

Because the online Statutory Births only go as far as 1905 and Magnus Work must have been born later than that, you would need to be able to go to New Registry House in Edinburgh for that information. Or ask a professional researcher to get his death and birth certificate extracts for you.

Thanks, CatrionaL.....I was hoping that someone from Orkney would maybe respond with the information. I have his DOB and will just wait until someone is going to NRH......I've got that in hand should all else fail....thanks again, Tass
