Wilson/Mitchell -Polmont.....

Help with any info-Wilson / Mitchell - Polmont, Stirlingshire

I have an Elizabeth Wilson born 1814, married to Peter Clark abt 1834, and died 1876
the problem is trying to establish Elizabeth Wilson's parents,- William Wilson and Janet Mitchell.

LDS show a William Wilson and Janet Mitchell Married in Polmont 1889, Parents Thomas Mitchell and Janet Walker, but they do not appear to have a Child named Elizabeth.

Hope this is not too confusing

Hi Thomsos,

I noticed on IGI that all of the births in Polmont for this couple are from submissions. Did you notice the extract for Elizabeth Wilson Christened 29 AUG 1813 Old Monkland, Lanark, Scotland, parents William Wilson and Janet Mitchael? Might be worth it to take a look.

I did find the OPR birth 29/08/1813 for Elizabeth Wilson, But I have not found out much about her father William Wilson
