I am trying to trace Janet/Jessie Simpson. I believe she was born in Dunbarton in about 1834 and was the daughter of George Simpson, according to her marriage certificate to John Blair in Durham in 1861.
This is my first family tree trip North of the Border and any help would be much appreciated.
Simpson - Dunbarton.....

You've probably already got this information but the only Janet/Jessie Simpson I could find in Family Search with a similar birthdate was born in 1831, father's name John, mother Margaret Ferguson, Old Kilpatrick, Dunbarton
