My Buchanan Ancestors were from Bracadale, Isle of Skye.....

Hi All

My ancestor John Buchanan was born about 1805 to Donald and Mary Buchanan (nee Campbell) He married Catherine McDonald in 1825 in Bracadale. Catherine was born about 1807 to Patrick and Catherine McDonald (nee McLean)

John and Catherine migrated to Australia with children: James, Angus, John, John (yes there was two of them) Mary, Roderick, Catherine and Jessie (aka Janet) in 1852 under the HIES onboard the Georgiana.

Any connections out there??? I would like to make contact with descendants of John and Catherine's siblings.

Have you been able to trace the siblings either via the IGI or on the SP site?
