Hi,
In an 1851 census for Antrim I have:
William Stanfield, 51, head, married 1827, WEAVER (Clauconnill, Down)
Ann Stanfied, 56, Wife, married 1816, 1827, Housekeeper (Louth)
William Stanfield's wife appeared to have been married previously - which was news to me, but I'm totally 'searched out' looking for his birthplace of Clauconnil, Down. Does anyone know where this place is?
Cheers,
Jim
Clauconnill, Co. Down .....

Have you tried searching the PRONI site ? http://www.proni.gov.uk
These are all the "CL" townlands for Down:
Commons of Clanmagher,
Clanmaghery, Claragh, Clare, Clarkill,
Clay, Cleomack, Cloghanramer, Clogher,
Cloghram, Cloghskelt, Cloghy, Clonachullion,
Clonallan Glebe, Clonta Fleece, Clontaghnaglar, Clontanagullion,
Clontonakelly, Clonvaraghan, Clough, Cluntagh,
There are probably a few spellings for the place, you mentioned or else it's been an actual building in which case it may not be mentioned anywhere.
Sorry I haven't been able to track it down either
