Would anyone please be able to find out what happened to Robert?
I believe him to have been a policemen in Fife 1906 - 1917.
His wife was Wilhelmina Pearson b Aug 1889 St Andrews Fife
They married 14 June 1912 in St Andrews Fife
His parents are John Millar b Nov 1860 Ceres, Fife
and Christine Robertson b August 1861, St Andrews Fife
Thanks

Hi Sonya
and a warm welcome to Talking Scot
Sorry you have had to wait a little while for a reply. Have you tried looking for a death for Robert on the Scotlands People site? Deaths online only go up to 1955, so if he lived beyond that date you may not find him.
However, his marriage on 14 June 1912 should be able to be found on SP - this should give you the names of both sets of parents.
I wonder if this is your John Miller in 1881? There is another John Miller around the same age born in Ceres, but he is to be found in Kettle in 1881. As your one married a St Andrews girl, this one seemd more likely:
Best wishes
