My sister has given me a copy of a brochure regarding the Canadian Pacific and the group of 51 settlers as it states that left Scotland to live in Canada. I'll try and post this in the gallery unfortuantely it's a copy of a copy but the writing is still pretty clear. It states the names of the families, the number of members of each family and what the costs were.

The families listed were
T Meek
R Reid
G McGillveray
J R Anderson
A Reid
G Anderson
J Duff
and J Prentice.
There is also an article that was in the Courier dated 16/01/1987 - Another Look 'Way back When' that has the photo of the settlers my grandmother is in the picture - this is the first time I've seen a photo of her so young she's about 7 years old. Again - I'll try and post it in the gallery.
I'd be interested if anyone has any connection with "the settlers".
Regards
Donna

Donna,
If you look at this site you will probably find all of the names that you listed. It gives the name of the ship, port and date of arrival.
