how to upload images

HELP!
I have tried uploading an image i have from SP, its opened in Javalet and saved to My Documents but when I click upload it comes up with with "only files with the following extensions are accepted! then a list of jpg etc.
Please advise

Hi Bertha,

The best format to upload a certificate from ScotlandsPeople is in TIF format - the original SP format. To obtain the TIF from SP, one method is to change your SP viewing method (temporarily if you want) to "direct download" in your SP profile. Then find this certificate in your viewed images, and select it and download it to your PC.

You should be able to upload that TIF image to the TalkingScot Gallery.

Have uploaded to gallery but didn't know how to put it in message on the forum like I've seen others. Need to go to some PC classes I think.
It's actually meant to be in the census forum as part of a query I sent in earlier that David answered.
Will post the info I require on there
